Every year in August we have a day called "Day of the Salmon" with various arrangements. Between 11.00 - 17.00 there is free fishing in all zones (except yellow zone). The biggest salmon is awarded with a prize, last year an Ambassadeur-reel. For the children there is a angling-contest with prizes for the three best contestants, a contest allways appreciated by children and parents. We have a cafeteria where you can buy delicious salmon-sandwiches or grilled salmon with potatoes and gravy. A lot of visitors just come to enjoy the food. We also have lotterys where you can win whole salmons (weighing 3 - 8 kg). Besides we have boothes selling all different kind of things e.g. craftsmen from the crafts association. This year the "Day of the Salmon" will be on Saturday 14'th of August starting at 11.00 by SFK Laxen's clubhouse. Everybody is heartily welcome. |
